Lessons

I’ve been fortunate to spend my entire life learning from great teachers and some of the strongest music programs in the country. For the past ten years, I’ve had the opportunity to pass that knowledge on through teaching, working with students of all ages, including teaching at the University of the Arts before its closing. My approach is centered around developing groove, strong fundamentals, and musical awareness, combining technique, ear training, and musicianship to help students become confident, expressive, and versatile musicians both on and off the instrument.

Private drum lessons are offered at my studio in Van Nuys, CA, or in your home for a small travel fee. Scheduling is flexible and can be arranged based on availability.

Virtual drum lessons are available for students anywhere. Sessions are run over high-quality video and audio to keep communication clear and effective, and can be scheduled flexibly based on availability.
